Much of the work will be about helping you to make sense of where you at the present moment and then make decisions about what you can do next. It is very practical work, rather than the depth work of counselling, and could be used to help you with all sorts of decisions, such as:
How Does it Work? Our One 2 One work is currently done with Linda (CEO of The Hysterectomy Association) and consists of an initial hour long telephone conversation. You will be asked to complete a 'getting to know you' questionnaire before your session, which gives us the starting point for our work together. This ensures that the session is focused on YOUR needs and it can then be used to cover a range of information, support, suggestions for you to consider and other helpful elements.
When you have booked, you will be asked to send us details of your landline telephone number and two or three dates and times between the hours of 10.00am and 7.00pm for us to have the initial telephone conversation. We do try to be as flexible as possible and should be able to accommodate most requests. We will then agree with you the date and time that is most suitable.
