Bought these a couple of days after returning home after total abdo hysterectomy they arrived within a couple of days and what a relief. They are lovely and soft and gave immediate support to the tummy area and also my back which had been aching a lot, best thing i ever bought and immediately got a second pair so i had them for every day. Just over 3 weeks after op now not wearing them every day as trying to strengthen stomach muscles so dont want them to depend on them too much, but def worth every penny :)

I recently bought the light support pants being 2 weeks post op as I thought they sounded great. I bought the size medium being a usual size 16 in pants. I found the tummy support section really good for when I was walking about. However they did rub/put pressure on my scar (even 4 weeks on)and I could only wear them for a short time. I also found they came almost up to my bust which was a bit too high. As far as support goes though - Very Good.

After reading previous reviews I ordered a size 14-16 although I'm normally a size 18. It's wonderfully soft and comfortable with just the right amount of support across the tummy and back. I only ordered one to see what it was like, but am about to order more.

The panty's are comfy and I would have given them 5 stars but if they had just a bit more support under the tummy - possibly more of the ribbing, further up towards the navel- about two to three inches or so it would help. (I normally have a completely flat stomach and it is there where the support is needed) the ribbing comes where my scar is and is helpful but doesn't do as much as it could.
I sat here yesterday, sewing in an extra layer of stretch fabric in the area mentioned and it works a treat!
The only other thing is that the sizing for me is perfect - i had the 18/20 (I wear size 18 briefs, size 20 jeans) but the length is too long, the waistband reaches my bust!!

Just had hysterectomy 3 days ago and these are brilliant - really supportive and gentle. Have logged on and bought more on my return home. The hospital nurse was very impressed too! Really recommend them.

I can at last walk properly instead of creeping round holding my tummy! Very comfortable to wear. Can thoroughly recommend.

I am a size 12/14 ( 71 kg ) but reading advice I brought the medium ( 10/12 ) and these are quite large for me but have been lovely for post Op, so soft and pull up right over tummy & hold a sanitary towel firmly in place. I'm going to order a size smaller now for more support for the coming weeks . worth the cost for the comfort

Ordered a pair of support pants to try out in readyness, accidently ordered a size smaller whoops! but they fit perfectly!! so if you are on the small side of your size go down to the next one :-) Thought it may be handy to know. xx

I tried all sorts of pants from that well known high street store where most of us get our pants from! I could not find anything which did not dig in somewhere.
These pants are extremely well made and lots of thought has gone into them and I shall be wearing mine for a very long time because they are so comfortable and have support in all of the right places. They will be really great just for normal wear beyond my recuperation time (perhaps not a fashion statement) but they would be brilliant under a dress or at the gym or with jeans to protect your waist from digging waist bands.
I did have difficulty deciding. I am a 12/14 so I could not decide whether to go for a 10/12 or a 14/16. I opted for the 10/12. They are definitely a 10/12 and the elastic is a little tight round my legs (I do have large legs. Now I have worn them for a few days I do not notice so I might have been just the shock of wearing pants!! I am pleased I didn't go for the 14/16 though because I am pretty certain they would have soon been too big.
I bought a white pair and a black pair and am now seriously considering buying some more because I can't imagine wearing anything else.
